Upgrade to MR 30 for SIGNA™ MRI scanners

Through its development, AIR™ Recon DL was extensively tested at clinical research collaboration sites. As of September, 2022, AIR™ Recon DL has been installed at over 1,200 facilities, with over 4.5 million patients scanned. There are now over 12 peer-reviewed scientific journal articles on AIR™ Recon DL.

When AIR™ Recon DL was first introduced, it was compatible with most 2D sequences including Spin Echo, Fast Spin Echo, Single-Shot Fast Spin Echo, Gradient and Fast Gradient Echo, and EPI-based diffusion weighted family sequences. Now the capability is expanded to other sequences, such as Diffusion Tensor Imaging, FSE Flex, CartiGram T2 mapping, Cardiac T1 mapping, and Single-Shot Phase Sensitive Myocardial Delayed Enhancement (SSh PS MDE) with Respiratory Triggering.

3D imaging remains a key component to most clinical MRI exams and now it is also compatible with AIR™ Recon DL. AIR™ Recon DL expands its compatibility to most 3D sequences including Cube, Fast Spin Echo, Gradient Echo, and Fast Gradient Echo family of sequences. Scan now, reformat later.

Unexpected patient motion is always a challenge in MRI, which results in ghosting artifacts that can hinder diagnosis. PROPELLER is a radial FSE-like acquisition technique that is inherently motion-insensitive, capable of all of the same contrasts and weightings as 2D FSE and DWI. With the MR 30 release, AIR™ Recon DL is now compatible PROPELLER, making it easier to diagnose challenging anatomies from motion and distortion.

The MR 30 for SIGNA™ release delivers multiple synergistic components to deliver personalized, end-to-end clinical solutions. These components range from coil selection, patient setup, workflow automation, scanning, and ultimately report generation.
